Is your engineering degree not giving you a 5 digit
salary? Are you planning to do specialization? Is your diploma not enough to
get you a job? BLITZ is the solution!! Blitz students are equivalent to
engineers because we provide you with world class training and high level
opportunities. We have the best faculty with best facilities .We are trying to
bring a revolution in the field of education.
A short term drilling course (3 or 6mnths) of Blitz is
definitely going to change your career.

abroad as well, which includes Aramco (American Oil Company).
Drilling
A drilling rig is a machine that creates holes in
the earth sub-surface. Drilling rigs can be massive structures housing
equipment used to drill water wells, oil wells, or natural gas extraction
wells, or they can be small enough to be moved manually by one person and are
called augers. Drilling rigs can sample sub-surface mineral deposits, test
rock, soil and groundwater physical properties, and also can be used to install
sub-surface fabrications, such as underground utilities, instrumentation,
tunnels or wells. Drilling rigs can be mobile equipment mounted on trucks,
tracks or trailers, or more permanent land or marine-based structures (such as
oil platforms, commonly called 'offshore oil rigs' even if they don't contain a
drilling rig). The term "rig" therefore generally refers to the
complex of equipment that is used to penetrate the surface of the Earth'scrust.
Small to medium-sized drilling rigs are mobile, such
as those used in mineral exploration drilling, blast-hole, water wells and
environmental investigations. Larger rigs are capable of drilling through
thousands of metres of the Earth's crust, using large "mud pumps" to
circulate drilling mud (slurry) through the drill bit and up the casing
annulus, for cooling and removing the "cuttings" while a well is
drilled.

Duties Of
Drilling Engineers
Drilling engineers are responsible for a range of
professional duties. For instance, they must perform cost assessments on
prospective oil and gas sites, keep track of the rates of production at
drilling sites, communicate with other personnel to resolve any problems that
may arise and analyze information related to well placement. Your duties could
also include employing computerized drilling technology to connect isolated
petroleum deposits with individual wells, ensuring that equipment is properly
installed and devising strategies to increase the volume of oil extracted.
Career Path and Specializations
Drilling engineers can find entry-level employment
at large multinationals, mid-sized independent companies, specialized operators
or consulting firms to gain experience and on-the-job training. After acquiring
the necessary licensing, many may then work their way up to project leadership,
middle management positions and/or upper management positions. Some engineers
even decide to go into business for themselves.
Technological advancements are necessitating that
drilling engineers tailor their expertise to certain cutting-edge trends.
Engineers may gain expertise in a variety of new developments, such as
computerized oil and gas reservoir simulation, seismic drilling techniques,
horizontal drilling and offshore oil production.
